First call to a service

How can I call a service ?
To make a call : Check that you have a compatible version of WengoPhone running on your computer (WengoPhone 2.0 RC3 and above) and that your WengoPhone is properly connected with your Wengo identifiers. If yes :
- click on the Call Me button of a service provider on his web site or from the services directory on the web site http://www.wengo.com
- or enter the sip address of the service of your choice in the dialbar of your softphone :
sip:nickname of the service@wdeal.com
for example, if the nickname of the service you wish to call is wengomaniacs, enter : sip:wengomaniacs@wdeal.com
You will be prompted to dial your confidential code to accept the tariffs of the service you are calling. Enter it with your mouse on your WengoPhone’s dialpad. If the code is valid, you will be asked to wait while the state of your account is checked and then to wait while your call is put through to the service provider.
If the service provider is busy, you will be informed of your position in the waiting queue.
Important !
You are not charged until your conversation with the service provider starts.
How can I find a service ?
You can locate a service provider with its Call Me button placed on his web site.
You can also search for a service provider in the services directory featuring :
- search by key words
- search by tags
- search by creation date
- search by rating
What happens if I take a second call during a communication with a service provider ?
We do not advise to take a second call while having a communication with a service provider, unless the second call is really important. You will keep on paying for the service that you put on hold.
What happens if I make a conference with a service provider and a third party ?
During the alpha period we do not advise to make conference call. The call to the service provider would be billed to you even though you could not put the three parties in conference.
