Get the Headline News

You wish to be notified as soon as a new headline is published in your Wengo personal area ? This guide will help you do so.

We chose to explain the process with the RSS feeds reader, RSS Bandit; but you can choose another software if you wish.

The following guide has been prepared with a PC running Windows XP SP2.


INSTALLATION OF RSS BANDIT :

  • Click on download

  • Click on the link to download the latest version

  • Click again on the download link

  • Choose the site from which you'd like to download the software, for example the Swiss site

  • Execute the downloaded file to install RSS Bandit on your computer
  • Eventually authorize the software with the Windows firewall


SUBSCRIPTION TO THE HEADLINE NEWS RSS FEEDS

  • Start RSS Bandit, click on "New" and "Feed Subscription"

  • Set the connexion frequency of your RSS feeds reader and tick « Enable alert windows on received items » if you want to sse an alert from the Windows systray of your computer.


Here you go ! You will be notified of the new headlines about Wengo without needing to connect to your personal area on a regular basis.
