How can I edit an invoice for a transaction ?

At the end of a call, you receive an email with the details of the transaction and to invite you to connect to your online selfcare to check the invoice that we edited for you.

  • your invoice can be automatically sended to your customers if you checked this option
  • if not, you can send your invoices on demand with a simple click in your online selfcare

You've got nothing else to do, we automatically manage everything for you.

Important !

We calculate the right VAT rate for you, in the event that VAT applies to your transactions.

What is the commission levied by Wengo ?

There are no monthly fees, nor set up fees, or connection fees charged by Wengo. Wengo earns money only when you earn money. Our commission rate is 30% of the amount invoiced to your customer, all taxes included.

In case your customer fails to pay the transaction, we will not invoice you (case of an immediate payment failure) or we will give you your commission back (case of a delayed payment failure i.e charge back).

How is my remuneration calculated ?

The amounts invoiced to your customer are calculated the following way : set up fee (if applicable) + per minute fee / 3 * number of 20 seconds periods spent in communication

A call of less than 20 seconds is not invoiced.

The invoiced amounts are shared as follow :

  • 65% are available for the next tranfer to your bank account within the next 45 days
  • 5% are put in delayed payment to cover the global risk of charge back for your service
  • 30% are transferred to Wengo as its commission

For example : For a service with tariffs of 2€ for set up and 0.60€ per minute, all taxes included :

  • for a call of less than 20 seconds : the call is not charged to your customer : you earn 0€
  • for a call of 4 minutes and 30 seconds (i.e 14 periods of 20 seconds) : you invoice 2€ + (0,60€/3)* 14 = 4,80€ to your customer
    • 3.12€ are available for the next transfer to your bank account
    • 0.24€ are put in delayed payment
    • 1.44€ are transferred to Wengo as its commission

What VAT rate is applied to my invoices ?

Wengo manages the whole VAT issue for you and edits your invoices with the right rate.

  • On your invoices to your customers, the applicable VAT rate depends on :
    • what you are : i.e if you are an individual or a professional. If you are an individual no VAT is applied
    • If you operate as a company, the rate depends on :
      • your billing address : if it is in the European Union (each country has a different rate), in France or in the French overseas départements (Warning : if you operate as a company, services' creation is currently available only for companies based in the EU)
      • the type of your customer : if it is an invidual or a company
      • the billing address of your customer, in case it is a company : if the company is based in the EU in the same country as your company, or outside of the EU.

  • On the WDeal's fees invoices, the VAT rate applied depends on :
    • what you are : i.e if you are an individual or a professional.
    • your billing address : if it is in the European Union (each country has a different rate), in France, in the French overseas départements or outside of the EU.
